Fouress Triple Eccentric High Performance Butterfly Valve is a high-integrity butterfly valve particularly suitable for a variety of arduous applications.
These valves are broadly categorized as:
1. Fire Safe to API 607
2. High Temperature Applications

A triple eccentric butterfly valve is ideal for fire-safe duties. It can withstand fire exposure and retain its sealing integrity for a short period, after which the valve can be refurbished. Fire safe testing as per API 607 is a mandatory requirement for such critical applications.
“High Temperature” butterfly valves are designed for specific applications where careful material selection is essential. In this context, high temperature refers to operating ranges above which traditional resilient seated valves cannot function effectively.
The third category includes butterfly valves for critical applications where the use of resilient seals is not suitable. Typical applications include pipelines carrying solvents, aggressive chemicals, or liquids and gases containing corrosive particles.
This product represents a breakthrough in butterfly valve design. It is certified as fire safe and can operate continuously at elevated temperatures up to 550°C.

- Unique tilted cone/sphere geometry eliminates scuffing and pick-up issues common in metal-to-metal sealing valves, ensuring bi-directional tight shut-off, low operating torque, long service life, and high integrity during thermal cycling.
- Replaceable laminated disc seal.
- Suitable for pressure applications ranging from vacuum to 30 kg/cm².
- Size range: 80 mm to 3000 mm nominal bore.
- Larger sizes and/or higher temperature ratings available on specific request.
- Available as flangeless lugged or double flanged valves to any standard as per client requirements.
- Certified fire safe as per API 607.
- Can be supplied with manual, pneumatic, electric, or hydraulic actuators, including optional fail-safe systems for emergency operation.
